Lenny Abrahamson will take the helm of The Grand Escape film adaptation. He has become well-known as the director behind the Oscar-nominated movie, Room.
According to The A.V. Club, the story behind this project comes from an unpublished nonfiction book by Neal Bascomb. The publisher, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, has not announced the release date yet.
