Khizr Khan has signed a memoir deal with Random House. His wife, Ghazala Khan, has agreed to contribute to this book.
The Khans, the parents of a fallen Muslim-American soldier named Captain Humayun Khan, appeared at the 2016 Democratic National Convention (DNC) to support Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. The Associated Press reports that Khizr gave a speech and “criticized the anti-Muslim rhetoric of then-Republican nominee Donald Trump.”
The video embedded above features Khizr’s moving speech. At this point in time, the book title has not been revealed. According to TIME, the publication date date has been scheduled for Fall 2017. (via USA Today)
