Kara Thomas, a novelist and television writer, has signed a two-book deal with Delacorte Press.
Thomas (pictured, via) plans to write a mystery entitled Darkest Corners. The Penguin Random House imprint has scheduled a release date for Spring 2016.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the book features “a True Detective-meets-Gillian Flynn’s Dark Places story, it follows two estranged childhood friends whose lives are upended the summer after their high school graduation when the serial killer they helped send to prison might go free.
