lisaling.jpgLaura Ling, one of the two recently-released journalists imprisoned in North Korea while reporting for Current TV, hopes to publish a book with her sister.

The Wall Street Journal quoted an unnamed source who had seen the proposal being shopped by Ling and her sister, Lisa Ling (pictured, via) –a journalist who works for “The Oprah Winfrey Show.” According to the report, the authors have picked agent “Suzanne Gluck and others at William Morris Endeavor” to represent them.

Here’s more from the article: [It is] a book that will examine the meaning of sisterhood and journalistic ideals. The issue of Laura Ling’s captivity will be discussed, but in a larger context … The publisher who saw the proposal said that it appeared more intriguing than a book that might have focused solely on Ms. Ling’s imprisonment in North Korea.”
