Acclaimed author Joan Didion has a new book coming out on March 7, 2017.
The 81 year-old author’s new title from Knopf, South and West: From a Notebook, will give readers a glimpse inside the notebooks that Didion is often referencing in her writing. The title will feature “two extended excerpts from her never-before-seen notebooks–writings that offer an illuminating glimpse into the mind and process of a legendary writer,” according to Penguin Random House’s website.
Didion is the author of five novels and eight previous books of nonfiction including: The White Album; Slouching Towards Bethlehem and The Year of Magical Thinking.
