Jena Malone Joins Catching Fire Adaptation

Actress Jena Malone has been cast as Johanna Mason in The Hunger Games film sequel, Catching Fire. As of this writing, more than 27,000 fans have hit “like” for this post. What do you think?

Malone’s character is a former Hunger Games victor who hails from District 7 (Lumber). Johanna Mason rose to fame for pretending to appear as a weakling when in fact she was a skilled warrior; she became one of the youngest tributes to win the competition. At the time Catching Fire takes place, she is still in her early 20’s.
