iPad Release Video: How Much Will You Pay for an eBook?

By eight a.m. EST this morning, hundreds of Apple iPad early adapters were lined up outside the Fifth Avenue Apple Store in New York City. Television news crews, online reporters, guerrilla marketers with off-road Segways, police officers, and a battalion of private security guards mingled on the jam-packed sidewalk.

Patrolling the line, GalleyCat spotted exactly four people reading print books to pass the time. Out of those four old-fashioned readers, two were willing to do an interview–delivering some crucial intelligence for publishers.
