In it, he has written a collection of eleven short stories set in and around the Great Lakes of Michigan, describing boys and men in struggles with both nature and themselves.
Represented by literary manager, Donna Bagdasarian of Publication Riot Group Schuitema is an assistant professor at Kendall College of Art and Design, where he teaches creative writing, rhetoric, and modern literature.
