I’m Ready for Satellite Radio Now!

jennifer-banash.jpgYou might remember I told you a while back that I had started lining up authors to appear on Be Happy, Dammit!, a Sirius radio program hosted by my pal, self-help expert Karen Salmansohn. Well, after a few trial runs, I’ve been given my first entire episode to fill tomorrow morning. Among the guests: Impetus Press co-founder Jennifer Banash (left), who read from her debut novel, Hollywoodland, at KGB last Sunday—and will be there again this Saturday night, too. She’ll be joined by fellow Impetus author Kate Hunter, and then other segments will feature David Silverman, who writes about the collapse of his typesetting business in the memoir Typo, and Annabelle Gurwitch, who explores another form of career setback in the book and documentary Fired. (As you can see, I’m aiming for overarching themes!)

If that sounds interesting to you, it’s on the Lime network (Sirius channel 114) at 8 A.M. tomorrow morning, with a repeat at 8 P.M., and for everyone who’s not a subscriber, we’ll try to get a podcast up early next week.
