By Dianna Dilworth

gameofthronesStatista has created an infographic called, “How Much Time Book-to-TV Adaptations Get Out of a Page,” which explores how many hours of television you get out of a written page of a book.

Using data reported in The Guardian, Statistica illustrates how a show like “Boardwalk Empire”, has gotten four seasons worth of TV shows from a 312-page book. Game of Thrones, however, covered 1,980 pages from books in 26.5 hours of viewing. Here is more from the Statista site: “That means “Game of Thrones” gets 0.8 minutes of screen time out of a page while “Boardwalk Empire” spends 8.77 minutes per page of the book it’s based on.” (Via Mashable).

We’ve embedded the entire graphic after the jump.
