Our colleagues at FishbowlNY report that less than a year after taking over the editor-in-chief gig at Tango, Hilary Black (right) is returning to book publishing. The report hasn’t pinned down firm details beyond Black’s scheduled April departure from the realtionship mag, but points out she had a five-year track record at Random House, HarperCollins and Simon & Schuster. And, yes, I know that’s a dinky picture of her, but it’s the only one I could find online…and it’s actually part of a group shot from a mediabistro.com magazine industry reception.
