Harry Potter Reader’s House in Aleppo Bombed

A young Syrian reader who recently received a Harry Potter e-book from JK Rowling herself, no longer has a home.

JK Rowling sent the e-book to the seven-year-old child when the girl’s mother messaged Rowling on Twitter and asked how she could get copies of Harry Potter books. Her daughter likes to read to ignore the war outside of her home the mother revealed on Twitter).

Last night the mother tweeted that their home was bombed.
