HarperCollinsLogo091510.jpgWhether you’re into vampires, Justin Bieber or Freakonomics, HarperCollins is on the hunt for a marketing director who can execute campaigns for them all. The publishing house is looking for a hands-on individual who has the ability to see the big picture, while paying close attention to the details.

If hired, you’ll develop all of the marketing and sell-in materials for selected titles, addressing sales requests along the way. Do you like working with others? Good. You’ll also be collaborating with the online marketing manager on Web campaigns, and coordinating with publicists on the execution of new projects.

The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of marketing experience at a major book publisher, and proven experience working on national fiction and nonfiction campaigns. Those with a strong understanding of social networking and advertising will be ahead of the pack. Interested? Apply here.
