Harper Studio Adds Burningham to Marketing Team

sarah-burningham1.jpgHarperCollins publicist Sarah Burningham (photographed earlier this year at her own book launch) has been reassigned from William Morrow to the recently created HarperStudio imprint, where she’ll serve as associate director of marketing under her once and future colleague, Debbie Stier. In announcing the move, Stier observed that “Sarah is not only tireless in her traditional publicity efforts, but she has worked closely with colleagues to create new partnerships for books to increase sales and general consumer awareness,” citing campaigns that paired the publisher with The Sak handbag company, J.Crew, Sephora, and Perrier-Jouet. Sounds like just the sort of non-traditional retail plans HarperStudio is aiming to cultivate…
