Two Brooklyn-based businesses, Greenlight Bookstore and Peck’s Specialty Food, have formed a partnership to launch the Book/Plate event series.
Attendees sit for a dinner with an author to enjoy a book discussion and a family-style meal. The cost of reserving a seat typically covers both the food and a copy of the book.
Tonight’s dinner features Saeed Jones and his new poetry collection, Prelude to Bruise. Matthew Gavin Frank will headline the September 30th dinner and talk about his essay, “Preparing the Ghost.” (via TimeOut New York)
