Reader recommendations site Goodreads now has 100,000 authors in its Goodreads Author Program. Participating authors include: Khaled Hosseini, Neil Gaiman, Amy Tan, Helen Fielding, James Patterson, Cassandra Clare, Rick Riordan, Jodi Picoult, Stephen King, Margaret Atwood, John Grisham, Nicholas Sparks, L.J. Smith,David Baldacci
To mark the milestone, Goodreads has unveiled author badges, an icon that will show up on the pages of all verified author pages.

Many authors keep their pages updated with news of upcoming books and, because all writers are also readers, they also share their reading lists—another great opportunity to discover new books on Goodreads!
