The “Funny or Die” team has released the 10th installment in the Game of Thrones recap web series, Gay of Thrones. Vanity Fair reports that author George R.R. Martin makes an appearance towards the end of the episode.
During this cameo, Martin imitates the grandfather character from The Princess Bride film adaptation and pokes “fun at the show, his snail-like writing pace, and his predilection for violence.” We’ve embedded the entire episode in the video above–what do you think?
According to the Wall Street Journal, Martin turned down a cameo on the fourth season of the HBO show because he wanted to focus on more pressing projects.
