Writer Eileen Markey has signed a deal with Nation Books.
According to the publisher’s announcement, Markey plans to write a biography profiling Maura Clarke entitled A Dangerous Woman. Clarke became well-known as “one of the nuns killed by the Salvadoran military in 1980 for her efforts to educate and aid peasants who were resisting the US-backed regime.”
Associate editor Katy O’Donnell negotiated the deal with Foundry Literary + Media agent Roger Freet. At this point in time, no release date has been revealed.
