Chronicle Books, publisher of Suzy Lee’s Wave, Playboy: The Complete Centerfolds, and Moleskine notebooks announced upcoming layoffs of less than five percent of their employees.
According to Publishers Weekly, the company will also reduce the size of the adult book list in 2010. From the article: “[President Jack] Jensen said that while children’s sales have grown, the company, like most publishers, has seen a steady decline in backlist sales.”
