Domhnall Gleeson has landed the role of Mr. McGregor in the Peter Rabbit live-action/CG adaptation. He joins a cast that already includes James Corden, Rose Byrne, Daisy Ridley, and Elizabeth Debicki.
Here’s more from Variety: “The film will be directed by Will Gluck from a screenplay by Rob Lieber with revisions by Gluck. The adaptation will be made at Animal Logic, the Sydney-based animation and visual effects production studio behind the blockbuster The Lego Movie.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story for this movie will be based on Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit book series. The theatrical release date has been scheduled for April 2018. (via Empire Magazine)
