Galeophobics beware, it’s “Shark Week” over at the Discovery Channel.
To help viewers learn more about the predators of the deep sea, Discovery Communications has released an iPad book app with details on the various sharks featured in the show. The $4.99 app is currently the top grossing iPad book app.
The Ultimate Sharks app includes stories of real life shark encounter stories, as well as 3 hours of shark videos from the Discovery archives. It’s also got a 3D interactive shark game, in which players can swim, hunt and attack. It also includes the 10 Deadliest Sharks feature, starring the Great White, Hammerhead and Tiger Shark.
