BBC America unleashed a sneak peek video for the Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency series at San Diego Comic-Con. The video embedded above offers glimpses of stars Samuel Barnett and Elijah Wood.
Here’s more from Variety: “The series follows the surreal adventures of a highly unconventional detective, Dirk Gently (Barnett) and his reluctant assistant Todd (Wood). Together they navigate one big metaphysical mystery per season.”
According to Slate, the story for this adaptation project comes from Douglas Adams’ Dirk Gently novels. The premiere episode will air on October 22. (via The Los Angeles Times)
