Rick Famuyiwa will not be directing The Flash film adaptation. He decided to leave due to creative differences with the movie studio.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kiersey Clemons, the actress who will play Iris West, expressed great disappointment for Famuyiwa’s departure. This movie is slated for release on March 16, 2018.
Here’s more from Variety: “Famuyiwa is the second director to exit the project, following Seth Grahame-Smith’s departure earlier this year. The studio is still expected to have another director in line shortly. Warner Bros. had no comment on the news.” (via comicbook.com)
