Denise Brown Goes Back to Oprah? YES!

By Neal

A reader in Chicago is telling us that promos for tomorrow’s Oprah Winfrey show, where Fred and Kim Goldman will explain why they want to publish If I Did It, are already airing in that city, and that one of the other Very Special Guests is… Denise Brown, who just last month held a press conference announcing she’d refused to do the show. My understanding is that she appears to not be joining the Goldmans, but meeting Winfrey in a separate segment.

In that press conference, Brown accused the Goldmans of “flip-flopp[ing] their story” by opposing the book when O.J. Simpson held the rights, then wanting to publish it when they acquired the rights. But, if this story pans out, it’s an equally interesting reversal of a quite emphatic and public declaration. I guess we’ll find out tomorrow…or sooner?

UPDATE: The Oprah website now confirms Denise Brown’s presence, and adds that “Christopher Darden and Marcia Clark weigh in” as well.
