David Cay Johnston has signed a deal with Melville House. This Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist plans to write a nonfiction book entitled The Making of Donald Trump.
Johnston has devoted more than thirty years to a career in journalism; he has written many reports on the presumptive GOP party presidential nominee. The publication date has been scheduled for August 2.
Dennis Johnson, the publisher of the company, gave this statement in the press release: “Johnston is the ideal writer for this book; he’s reported on Trump’s business dealings for decades, and his experience reporting on real estate and tax issues provides a new way of looking at the candidate’s life and career. There’s a lot in here that will surprise people.”
