Could you ever imagine Tarzan as the star of a science-fiction story? Dark Horse Comics and BOOM! Studios are partnering together for a crossover project called Tarzan on the Planet of the Apes.
According to the press release, this tale follows “Tarzan and his ape brother Caesar, raised as brothers but separated by slave traders, reunite when the war between man and ape takes them from the jungles of Africa to the center of the Earth.” The first installment of this five-part mini-series will be released on September 28.
Fernando Dagnino has signed on to create the interior art. Duncan Fegredo has agreed to illustrate the covers. Tim Seeley and David Walker will collaborate on the writing.
