Jon Klassen’s revealed the cover for his forthcoming picture book, entitled We Found a Hat, on his blog. We’ve embedded the full image for the jacket design above—what do you think?
This project, slated for publication in October 2016, will be the third and final installment of Klassen’s ‘Hat’ trilogy. Candlewick Press released I Want My Hat Back in 2011 and This is Not My Hat in 2012.
In an interview with The Guardian, Klassen shared that the artwork for “the other two books were done with Chinese inks, and this one was done with powdered graphite and water. The look isn’t too far off, just a little dryer to suit the desert location.”
