Counterpoint Press to Merge With Catapult

Counterpoint will continue to publish book. Jack Shoemaker and Dan Smetanka will stay on as editors and Megan Fishman will stay on doing marketing and publicity. Counterpoint CEO Charlie Winton will retire from day-to-day operations but will hold a position as editor-at-large.

Andy Hunter, Catapult’s Publisher, will take over as publisher at Counterpoint. Catapult associate publisher Jennifer Abel Kovitz will support Hunter in this role.

Soft Skull Press will return to New York and will be led by editor Yuka Igarashi.
