We know you love your bookshelf, but do you love your collection enough to commission a painting?

Over at the wonderful and crafty world of Etsy, artist Jane Mount specializes in bookshelf paintings. With a loving attention to book spines, she captures a reader’s “ideal bookshelf” in colorful paints. Follow this link to see more of Mount’s work.

Here’s more from the post: “This is an original gouache of a bookshelf full of your books (or whoever’s books you want!) on Arches hot press smooth watercolor paper. It can include up to 16 books of your choice. All you have to do is send me a photo of the full spines of the books together on a shelf, large enough that I should be able to read all the authors, titles and publishers. Usually the pieces take about 3 weeks to do once I get your photos, but sometimes it can be a bit longer if I have many in progress.” (Via FYB)
