The Center for Fiction Launches Kickstarter Campaign

By Maryann Yin

The Center for Fiction hopes to raise $15,000.00 for a new podcast series called Fiction Talks. Two new episodes will be released on a monthly basis through the organization’s website and on iTunes. We’ve embedded a video about this project above.

Here’s more from the Kickstarter web page: “In order to ensure that the excellent content of this podcast is brought to you in the highest quality sound, we need to remaster the audio from our events archive that includes hundreds of authors and improve our audio for events to come. At The Center for Fiction, we’ve had the opportunity to host some of the most celebrated authors in contemporary fiction. We’ve heard the voices of great writers such as Philip Roth, Jamaica Kincaid, Lee Child, Jane Smiley, Stephen King, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Deborah Eisenberg, Richard Ford, Nuruddin Farah, Jennifer Egan, Teju Cole, Michael Cunningham, Jhumpa Lahiri, and many, many more.”
