The Brooklyn Public Library has been hosting an art show featuring illustrations inspired by fairy tales. Some of the stories being depicted include “Hansel & Gretel,” “Cinderella,” and “The Pied Piper of Hamelin.”
The artists belong to the Children’s Book Illustrators Group (CBIG). According to the Brooklyn Public Library website, these pieces showcase “new interpretations of these classic stories for a contemporary audience.”
Visitors will be able to view this exhibit inside the Youth Wing of the Central Library branch. A closing date has been scheduled for September 25.
