brooklynlibraryThe Brooklyn Public Library is hosting an exhibit called “Treasures of Childhood: Books from the Hunt Collection of Children’s Literature.” Leonard S. Marcus served as the curator of this program.

Visitors will find this exhibition at the Central Library branch of this institution. The closing date has been scheduled for October 16.

Here’s more information from the organization’s website: “In celebration of Central Library’s 75th birthday, this exhibition features a small selection of books from the Library’s most valuable collection, the Hunt Collection. Named for Clara Hunt, these old and rare books were well loved by generations of young Brooklynites.”
