Yes indeed, look for the familiar chain store logo at Laguardia Airport’s Central Terminal starting in early November, when Borders opens up a 2,850 square foot store within the lower level Central Terminal Marketplace. The store will stock about 10,000 titles and other assorted products, along with comfortable seats available to customers.
“With its convenient proximity to Manhattan and to its business and entertainment districts, we are thrilled to open our first New York airport store in LaGuardia,” said Tony Grant, senior manager of the airport program for Borders Group, Inc., in a statement released this morning. “We are committed to connecting books and readers, and offering our customers the most relevant assortment. This new store in LaGuardia airport will provide travelers with a convenient place to discover a new author or pick up the latest bestseller.”
