Back in November, we told you about the launch of Book View Café, an online resource for fantasy and science fiction writing that offers some ebooks for free and others for purchase. Last week, the Café’s two dozen founding authors welcomed a new member into the ranks: fantasy novelist Judith Tarr. Tarr, best known for historical fantasy novels, is also an accomplished horse breeder, a passion which drives “Classical Horses,” one of the two stories she has given to Café patrons for free online reading. (The story first appeared in HorseFantastic, an anthology of equine-themed fantasy stories, in 1991.)
Tarr is the second author to join Book View Café since its launch; last month Alma Alexander posted three short stories to the site.
