Barnes & Noble released its third quarter financial results today, the Book Standard reports, and the preliminary figures are in: for the third quarter, ending Oct. 28, Barnes & Noble’s sales were up 3 percent to $1.1 billion, with store sales at $972.1 million and BN.com sales at $95.8 million. B. Dalton sales were down 28 percent, to $20.5 million.
