By Jason Boog

bealog2010.pngBookExpo America 2010 hits New York City next week–kicking off a week of publishing parties, panel discussions, and free galleys. Follow all the action on eBookNewser and our GalleyCat Twitter feed.

We know lots of our readers will miss the festivities–what do you want us to cover next week? Email us any suggestions. At Library Journal, Barbara Hoffert published her fabulous round up of all the big books and popular galleys. You can also explore BEA virtually through this web-based floor map and online planner.

The online catalog company Edelweiss has created a special BEA catalog. Here’s more from the release: “the on-line product catalog for BookExpo America 2010, called ‘Books@BEA’ has now gone live and is available for attendees and other interested book professionals to use. The catalog currently has over 300 exhibitors participating and contains over 10,000 titles being featured at this year’s show.”

Finally, NetGalley and Publishers Lunch have teamed up to create NetGalley Buzz catalog–a way to request digital galleys of big BEA books before the conference. Follow this link to request galleys.
