Yesterday, eBookNewser rounded up all the Barnes & Noble news. The company unveiled digital library of eBooks for kids called Nook Kids: “The collection will reportedly include more than 12,000 books, as well as about 100 digital picture books and 30 enhanced digital picture books.”
In addition, eBookNewser wrote more about a rumor-generating post: “[There was] a new product listed on the Barnes & Noble site called the “Nook Color Screen Film Kit,” an accessory to this new rumored eReader. It has since been removed.”
Finally, Amazon countered all these headlines with a vague press release about eBook sales and an iPad shopping app. Note: This post has been updated.
