Flora Ahn has signed a two-book deal with Scholastic. She has become well-known for creating and running the Bah Humpug blog; this project features “illustrations of a grumpy girl and her two weird pugs.”
Here’s more from Ahn’s blog post announcement: “The story will follow a mostly fictional account of Sunny’s and Rosy’s sibling rivalry adventures. And I know what you’re wondering and yes, there will be plenty of drumstick attacks in the books.”
In real life, Ahn (pictured, via) does own two pugs named Sunny and Rosy. Book one will be released in Spring 2018 and book two will follow in Fall 2018. (via the Bah Humpug twitter page)
