The Man Booker finalists have been announced. John Banville, Julian Barnes, Sebastian Barry, Kazuo Ishiguro, Ali Smith, and Zadie Smith will duke it out on BBC 2 October 10th.
(I’m rooting for Ishiguro, not just because it’s the only one I’ve read, but because I always root for the science fiction when it makes the shortlist.)
