Anthony Weiner Texts to Be Published in Adult Memoir

By Dianna Dilworth

Curious about what former Congressman Anthony Weiner wrote in his infamous sexting scandal? Former cheerleading coach Traci Nobles (and one of Weiner’s virtual lovers) will publish texts she received from Weiner in an “adult memoir” called I Freinded You (sic).

The Daily Mail has published excerpts from the book. It turns out that many of these texts are a lot less sexy than you’d think.

In fact, many of the texts were just complaints about his in-laws. The article published this text: “They just believe I should be Muslim or convert… it makes for a lot of uncomfortable meetings. When you’re religion is something that is hated from the beginning it doesn’t inspire much confidence.”

Why did Nobles come forward? She explained on Facebook: “There were numerous reaons that motivated me to write this book. One of which included timing. It has been almost a year to the day that I became involved in what would later be termed, “Weinergate”. But mainly, I was motivated by my need for clarity. I wanted to provide clarification for the lies and untruths, both know and unknown. For me personally, it is important to address how I was portrayed, as well as how my involvement has affected various aspects of my life, as well as those who are close to me.
