I suppose it isn’t really even news anymore when Page Six runs glorified press releases for HarperCollins books without disclosing the fact that they’re all part of the News Corp. family, but just in case I’m not the only one keeping score, they did it again Saturday, with a lengthy lead-off item on Got What It Takes?, a book about success by TV’s Bill Boggs. At least I spotted my pal, Hard Case Crime publisher Charles Ardai, a little further down the page, talking about the recently uncovered Matt Helm manuscript written by the late Donald Hamiltion. I’ve got to remember to ask him about that when Hard Case takes over the KGB later this month.
