Amazon Launchpad, the retailer’s startup outlet, is promoting a new line of products that were developed through Kickstarter.
The new Kickstarter Collection includes more than 300 items from startups that used the crowd funding network to create their products. Items rang from electronics and wireless devices to books and movies. Books include: Then Come Back: The Lost Neruda by Pablo Neruda and Forrest Gander; Soviet Bus Stops by by Christopher Herwig and Vera Kavalkova-Halvarsson;
“At Amazon, we work hard to offer the widest possible selection of products so that customers can find anything and everything they might want to buy online,” stated said Jim Adkins, vice president of Amazon. “Working with Kickstarter is a great way for us to hear directly from customers what products they care about, since they truly hold the power to bring these products to life.”
