The Millions reports that the Random House website recorded nearly 15,000 downloads of Charles Bock‘s Beautiful Children, the novel that was given away online over a three-day period last week, which means that roughly 75 percent of the site’s unique visitors were motivated to try the book out. And that’s not even taking into account however many downloads came from online bookstores hosting the PDF on their own servers.
