Week of Dec. 6 TV Ratings: Cable Networks, Morning Shows, Evening News

Fox News Channel averaged 1.47 million total viewers in total day during the week of Dec. 6, making it the most-watched basic cable network in the Monday-Sunday 6 a.m.-6 a.m. time period for the 43rd consecutive week. The network also averaged 239,000 adults 25-54 in total day, No. 2 on basic cable only behind ESPN (357,000). (TVNewser)

After back-to-back weeks in second place, Good Morning America has regained its status as the most-watched morning show, averaging 3.32 million viewers, more than its competition from NBC and CBS. ABC’s morning show averaged 803,000 adults 25-54 as well, more than CBS Mornings but second behind NBC’s Today. (TVNewser)

ABC World News Tonight with David Muir held onto its status as the No. 1 evening newscast, both in average total viewers (8.39 million) and among adults 25-54 (1.55 million). (TVNewser)
