Univision Lays Off Staffers After Scrapping IPO

The turmoil at Univision Communications continued Friday when the Spanish-language broadcaster handed out pink slips to 20 workers, including several at its Fusion Media Group, where many of the English-language assets reside. (THR)

The move came at the end of a wild few days at the broadcaster, during which it pulled back its plans to launch an IPO, replaced its CFO and announced CEO Randy Falco would retire at year’s end. (Deadline)
