Telemundo Correspondent Freed After Being Abducted in Venezuela

A journalist working for the Spanish language network Telemundo was released Tuesday after being abducted in Venezuela by unidentified armed assailants early Tuesday morning. (Mediaite)

Telemundo said Daniel Garrido was abducted at 6 a.m. ET near the Hotel Cayena in La Castellana, Caracas, while covering the government’s detainment of a Univision news crew led by Jorge Ramos the day before. (Deadline)
