Sprint and T-Mobile Merger Faces New Hurdle with Lawsuit by States

The $26 billion merger of T-Mobile and Sprint seemed to be moving forward in recent weeks, when the head of the Federal Communications Commission gave it his blessing. But on Tuesday, the plan hit a roadblock when a group of state attorneys general sued to block it. (NYT)

New York Attorney General Letitia James and California Attorney General Xavier Becerra announced the suit Tuesday. Colorado, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Virginia and Wisconsin also have joined the complaint, which was filed in Federal District Court in Manhattan.
