Sesame Street Will Move from HBO to HBO Max Next Year

Starting in 2020, new episodes of the children’s television franchise will appear first on HBO Max, the streaming app from Warner Media that will debut next year, the company announced on Thursday. (NYT)

The deal includes five new seasons of Sesame Street, several spinoff series and specials and the show’s 50-year library. (THR / Live Feed)

All of the new Sesame Street-related content will also be made available to PBS Kids after premiering on the WarnerMedia-owned streamer. (Variety)
