R. Kelly Enters Not Guilty Plea in Sex Abuse Case

Monday’s arraignment hearing comes after a Cook County judge Saturday set Kelly’s bond at $1 million; Kelly spent Saturday and Sunday in jail after not being able to pay the $100,000 bail required for his release. (Deadline)

After posting bond on Monday afternoon, Kelly was released from jail, authorities said. Kelly walked out of Cook County Jail on Monday evening with his attorney, Steve Greenberg, who said the R&B star would likely return to his apartment at Chicago’s Trump Tower. (NBC News)
