Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral service in Westminster Abbey was watched by 29.2 million people on television in the U.K., according to official audience data. (The Guardian)

It makes it one of the biggest moments in British TV history, although it fell short of the record 32.3 million people who tuned in to see England win the World Cup final in 1966, which garnered the biggest ever audience, according to the BBC. (CNN Business)

More than 10 million U.S. viewers watched the funeral on the country’s major broadcast and cable outlets Monday, according to preliminary data from Nielsen. (WSJ)

Fox News was the top-rated cable news channel during the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II on Monday. From 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET, Fox averaged 1.7 million viewers, including 243,000 in the key age demographic of viewers aged 25 to 54, according to early Nielsen Media Research data. (The Hill)
